5 day BOOTCAMP June 24 - July 9, 2016 (5 sessions)

CPPP is designed to help you take-on the unique demands of print production.

To be successful at print production requires skills that balance creativity and flexibility with strong technical understanding and attention to detail. Given the vast array of print tactics, the many nuances and distinct requirements of projects that involve print can seem daunting.

The CPPP program is designed to help you unravel the complexity of print production by providing hands-on learning opportunities and a set of best practices to streamline your approach. CPPP learning will help you to more confidently take on a wider range of print production challenges.

Key Learning:

  • Learn how to work effectively with studio producers to achieve stronger performance results.
  • Build understanding of work flow processes including image/layout, printing methods, sourcing, substrate selection and latest technology developments.
  • Build skill in managing rigourous production processes for a wide range of print elements..

Schedule:

The BOOTCAMP schedule is an intensive 5 day learning experience that brings everything together within a fast and comprehensive focus. Friday/Saturday workshop format with a Wednesday evening print facility visit.

  • Wednesday - June 29, 6:30 - 9:00pm (off-site print production facility visit
  • Friday - July 8, 1pm - 5pm
  • Saturday - July 9, 9:30am-5pm

WHO IS CPPP FOR?

  • Ideal candidates for the program are entry-level art buyers, studio coordinators and account or production coordinators.
  • CPPP is open to both agency and in-house production specialists, whether they currently operate in a client facing or a production facing capacity.
  • This program is best suited to those interested in building their foundational understanding of how to handle the production of communications print materials and projects involving print.
  • NOTE: CPPP is a foundational production skills program providing a solid print production skills competency which is assessed through a take-home assignment completed within 3 weeks of course completion. The program is not intended to provide a deep technical production competency.

THE SMALL PRINT:

  • ICA MEMBER INVOICING POLICY: ICA supports program invoicing for ICA Members only. For those who qualify, an invoice billing is provided for your ICA Member organization to pay on your behalf.

  • HOW TO CONFIRM ACCESS TO ICA MEMBER PRICING? Only Canadian communication agencies can be members of the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA). To find out if your Agency is an ICA member you can ask your HR department or review the ICA’s regularly updated ICA member list or CONTACT US to confirm.

  • PROGRAM CONTENT POLICY: Fees, dates and/or course content are subject to change from previously published information at any time. ICA reserves the right to cancel this program should enrolment levels fall short of guidelines. All registration fees are reimbursed if programming is cancelled by ICA.
 


  • REFUND POLICY: To receive standard refund, notification of enrolment cancellation must be received via email no later than ten business days prior to program start date. A non-refundable fee of $250 + HST will be deducted to meet administrative costs and any remaining balance will be refunded.
 No refunds available as of nine business days prior to the program start date.

  • PRIVACY POLICY: The ICA will only use your information to complete this transaction, to administer your education program and to announce information relevant to the courses in which you are enrolled. We do not share, rent or sell personal information to anyone.
